"You are the medicine." — Marisa Miquiztochtli Anita Reyes
Dance Rituals honor the legacy of Marisa Miquiztochtli Anita Reyes—a beloved Moon Dancer, singer, and ceremonialist who believed in the healing power within us.
Co-created during the pandemic years of 2021-2023—born from a deep need to hold space for self-love during collective uncertainty and Marisa's journey with breast cancer, this ritual continues in her memory.
In this transformative sacred container participants learn ritualized movement and songs weaving together Indigenous ceremony, breath, prayer, and dance releasing into cosmic joy! The colors of the rainbow.
Our vision is to create accessible ritual spaces where community transmutes and liberates together, through dance and the elements, honoring our bodies and emotions as sacred. Here we have space to celebrate the cycles of life and remember the truth Marisa taught us: “We are the medicine!”

A communing with an elder in on Tongva Land, Altadena California. Honoring the trees, animals, and ecosystem Lindsey Red-tail guides a Tree ritual during the first annual Through the Fire Procession - led by Yancy Comins (HITS) a sacred community walk of healing remembrance and return - one year after the Eaton wildfire in Altadena, CA.
