Working in collaboration with trees and water, Red-tail/Visions composes with the elements and Indigenous voices from within, sharing poems and stories in the body remembering, re-emerging, honoring the Land they grew up on before the fires and bringing the relationships forged with Nature on a new journey.

In their work Red-tail arrives with community through playful practices of renewal, awakening in stillness, in spiral, in stomp, in rebound, in trance, in waves - releasing what wants to be free! A rainbow spectrum of color and light.

“Walking, hiking and seeing my neighborhood in Altadena, I would get to know nearby trees and beautiful waterfalls. I began a new journey with nature searching for my roots. I learned to sing in the mountains, for myself and for anyone listening. After a few years I began to receive messages, memories and songs from the Earth. A language of grief and love. Returning. “
